Unveiling Giorgio Armani's Legacy: A Saint Moritz Exhibition by Nomad (2026)

Art Unveiled: A Journey Through Craftsmanship and Luxury

In a captivating collaboration, Nomad, the renowned art and design showcase, has joined forces with the iconic Giorgio Armani Group. This partnership brings to life an extraordinary exhibition in the picturesque Saint Moritz, where Nomad's ninth flagship edition will unfold until Sunday, nestled within the historic Villa Beaulieu hotel.

The project, titled "Giorgio Armani / Unveiled", promises an immersive experience. At its heart lies an exhibition titled "Through the Looking Glass: Jane Crisp and Yuta Segawa", exploring the captivating intersection of craftsmanship and the Armani/Casa universe. Curated by Abby Bangser, founder and creative director of Object & Thing, this initiative delves into the depths of culture and the artistry of craftsmanship.

But here's where it gets intriguing: a series of insightful talks will be hosted in the private residence of the late designer in Saint Moritz. These conversations will bring together key figures from the art and international culture scene, collectors, and trendsetters, offering a unique perspective on the world of art and design.

Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte, cofounder of Nomad, shares his vision: "Each edition is carefully integrated into its surroundings, presenting collectible design not as a mere spectacle, but as an intimate dialogue shaped by its context and cultural significance. Here, luxury emerges organically, influenced by spatial rhythm, material integrity, and the unique blend of individuals and ideas it attracts."

And this is the part most people miss: Nomad's approach goes beyond the exhibition itself. It's about creating an immersive experience, a conversation between design, location, and culture.

Other projects within this collaboration include a fascinating juxtaposition of furniture pieces. Artist Margherita Castiglioni, daughter of Carolina Castiglioni, founder of Plan C, will collaborate with the Sorgin Gallery, founded by Brazilian art and design dealer Mirian Badaró in 2024. This collaboration will showcase the works of Brazilian modernist masters Joaquim Tenreiro and José Zanine Caldas alongside contemporary creators Adeline Halot, Joseba Lekuona, and Eduardo Chillida, offering a unique blend of traditional and contemporary design.

This exhibition promises to be a feast for the senses, a celebration of craftsmanship, and a thought-provoking exploration of luxury. It's a must-visit for art enthusiasts and anyone seeking an immersive cultural experience.

What do you think? Is this collaboration a unique blend of art and luxury, or is it simply a spectacle? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
